On behalf of her Club, she proposed a few cost-sharing models to support the site’s maintenance, estimating annual expenses of approximately 200 euros.
Following a round of input, the group reached consensus:
➡️ Each Club wishing to be part of the network will contribute
20 euros annually toward the website’s upkeep.

______________
SI Ulm - Donaustadt supports refugees of the war in Ukraine since April 2022 on international and regional level
Support and networking inside of the Club are functioning impressively:
- - through
financial support and
material help for selected projects in Ukraine, Moldova, and Ulm organized by Soroptimist sisters in Ulm and the surrounding countries.
- - by hand on the support of activities for refugees in the Ulm region in the frame of ILEU e.V, where our Soroptimist sister Carmen Stadelhofer, president of ILEU e.V., started in March 2022 a big project, „Ukrainehilfe Ulm" (https://ukrainehilfe-ileu.de/). The Club gives, e.g., organizational help and food supply at the two monthly meetings "Locals meet refugees" in Teutonia; members respond to calls when ILEU is searching for objects (musical instruments, sewing machines, furniture, etc.).
- by creating contacts between professional activities of the Soroptimist sisters and ILEU (e.V., creative program for children in the Teutonia meeting by the creative Centre Kontiki, town tour for refugees)
- by arranging contacts between ILEU/Ukrainehilfe and companies in which Soroptimist sisters work, sponsors for big activities had been found for various activities for refugee families (e.g. free of cost trip and entry to Legoland for over 80 children with their mothers
- by creating contacts from ILEU/Ukrainehilfe with potential sponsors of activities ( e.g. Rotary Ulm-Neu Ulm, Volksbank Ulm-Biberach)
- by supporting public relations (through the mediation of a Soroptimist- sister, two relief campaigns could be carried out on SWR television and radio)
- by responding to calls for personal long-term help (two Soroptimists have taken in their family an underage refugee child living alone)
